SWS’s Air Movers and combination machines are complete cleaning systems. With up to 6,000cfm and 27” Hg vacuum, these machines can handle almost anything. In addition, SWS has a variety of different vacuum trucks designed to pump sludge, acid, or flammable liquids, and cyclone equipped vacuum units that are safe in hazardous atmospheres (flammability and explosivity concerns). SWS provides 6,000 gallon tankers or vacuum trucks (2,300 — 4,000 gallons) to pump and haul wastewater to a permitted industrial wastewater treatment unit or to used-oil recycling facilities.

New to the fleet is this VACCON Combination Unit with a three stage centrifugal compressor that produces 3400cfm at operating speed and is capable of 8000cfm. Vacuum is delivered to a 10' boom that extends, lifts and articulates 180 degrees. It is also equipped with 20' of aluminum tubing that can be added to the boom to pull from manholes or lift stations. The truck also has a high pressure jetting system powered by a separate auxiliary diesel engine that drives the jet pump at 80gpm and 2000 psi of water pressure. This combination unit is used for cleaning lines such as storm drains, sanitary drains, and lift stations and is also well equipped to remove contaminated soil surrounding underground utilities and contaminants from storm drains as a result of spills or accidental releases.
